Some of these groups that claim they "celebrate diversity" are really just looking for people from marginalized communities to perform for them by telling their tragic backstories. Stop bleeding out for groups that wouldn't even give you a band-aid.

Just saw who was selected for something I lost a few months ago, and it just re-affirms my belief that some of these groups don't actually give a fuck about your story, they just want to be entertained, exploit you, and then pat themselves on the back for "lifting you up". I'm so done.

Had a really good weekend/beginning of the week, followed by some really disappointing news of yet another opportunity lost.
