Absolutely. She wasn't the one in charge at the time, but the National Archives is a very dangerous institution, keeping the records.

On Tyranny focuses on the concept of tyranny in the context of the modern United States politics, analyzing what Snyder calls "America's turn towards authoritarianism". Explaining that "History does not repeat, but it does instruct." A simple and profound book.

This is how it's done. In January 2022, the Llano County Commissioners Court, Judge Ron Cunningham and Commissioner Jerry Don Moss voted to dissolve the county's library advisory board and appoint 12 new members, all of whom were part of the community group pushing for book removals.

In the case of Little et al vs. Llano County et al, one of the books removed from the library shelves was "They Called Themselves the K.K.K.: The Birth of an American Terrorist Group". And yet, the cover story was to 'root out pornography'. Lying liars, the far right is trying to root out history.

They ARE lying. 17 books were removed from Llano County Public Library shelves, which resulted in a lawsuit. To punish the citizens, Llano County Commissioners Court held a 'special' meeting to close the 3 county libraries. It didn't work, but after over 3 years, NO NEW BOOKS have been purchased.
