There's nothing wrong with the old narration. It's just a bit old-fashioned now. And Ms. Pike has such a melodious voice.

Further context:
1. I disliked the old narrator of the audiobooks so much it's the reason I did not persist with the books the first time I tried.
2. I may be an old woman before the new versions are finished, as these books are, like, 40hrs long. But her voice is 👌🏽
