After a bit more research it looks like the way to go is finding a good 17mm thread adapter/mount for my smartphone camera and then buying a compatible macro lens to screw into it. I see a lot of lenses that just clip onto phones but I'm worried they won't work with my phone case. :/

I think my most significant problem with @grapheneos.org so far is it's a wee bit too heavy handed with push notification security. Particularly, it prevents detailed/enhanced notifications from crossing user profile boundaries. I love this OS so far, and I'd like to solve the problem eventually.
