Hi, I'm Neil, a Linux advocate and Linux-only gamer, from Scotland. I'm also a techie - 20 years in Networking, and 10 in Cyber Security, so basically I speak fluent TLA. I also occasionally dabble with programming (Python mainly) and retro gaming too.

Horner will never be considered a national treasure, under any circumstances. Red Bull might turn their image around. Not Horner.

They could have spent that money innovating in their products, making them simpler, more accessible. But instead, they shoehorn Clippy+ into every shitty, half-assed product instead and then try to charge you for the experience.

Microsoft have launched over 100 different versions of Copilot, and spent over $13B in OpenAI funding. Meanwhile, outside of a handful of corner cases nearly everyone on the planet hates AI. Hence stupid takes like Phil's.

We do a few corrections a week, but given the quantity of articles you publish, the grammar, syntax and clarity are all top notch. Absolutely bizarre attack.

The official-fortnight account it's following is probably also a spam account then.

Why would you want to separate enjoyment from quality. I enjoyed D&D in the same way I enjoyed (some) shit movies. They are what you make of them. Sometimes you enjoy them BECAUSE of the flaws. Jank can be fun.

Well. It's not resolved. The ban still stands and Kruug is still a mod. Nothing has changed, except many of us don't use Reddit, or those subs anymore. Which is a fine result, tbh! 🤔😅

Wait, the shitty/janky FPS is a game feature?!? I tuned it out cos it was giving me a headache just watching the trailer. Game looked great otherwise, but hard pass for that reason alone!

Yeah, I'd have sunk good money into this if I could actually play it. Spent a bit of time on Destiny 1 in the PS3 days, enjoyed it. Outriders is a decent clone, btw.
Back to Helldivers 2 for me, I guess. New warbond drops tomorrow!

It's weird to be running OSX in 1996. With a Blue Yeti microphone.

I'm not much into F3, but yeah, she scored zero pts last season. Honestly though, she could have won it and this would _still_ be a weird flex!!

If a brand is still posting on Twitter at this stage, I avoid that brand. If a person is still posting, I've made (probably accurate) assumptions about the kind of person they are. At this stage, it's just a rightwing echo chamber.
