Dreams of Another looks awesome. Intrigued by Meteora and Grit & Valor too.

If you haven't tried GT7 then go for the free version just to experience the immersion. It's incredible. Synapse is also a must experience. Switchback after the updates is worthwhile. Other than that the RE games are brilliant and the psvr2 version of hitman is 10/10.

If you need any recommendations for games let me know. There's a genuinely fantastic library on the headset.

Knowing what a couple of games made on the platform, which have sold significantly less than psvr2, beat saber has made millions on the platform. I guarantee it. My guess is that because meta own beat saber, they're trying to consolidate quests position in the marketplace.

I wouldn't say it's very popular. Judging by available sales numbers it's maybe sold a quarter of the number of headsets of psvr2, let alone meta.

I read that as if you were having stomach problems at first 😂
comment in response to post
Not really, it's made millions so it doesn't need to happen. It looks as if it's Meta trying to consolidate a monopoly in VR gaming.

I know roughly what a couple of psvr2 games have made and beat saber has sold significantly better than them. It's made millions.

FYI, they'll have made significant sums of money on the headset. This is unlikely to be a solely financially motivated decision.

* waves *

I highly doubt it's finance or sales related. The thing was a goldmine for meta on playstation. Essentially free money
comment in response to post
Yeah it must be something to do with that. A totally bizarre, left-field decision regardless
comment in response to post
Yeah I don't understand this. The only way it makes sense is if Meta is trying to kill psvr or if Sony was supporting them monetarily and that has stopped.
comment in response to post
Well it did break the game by the looks of it. I'll jump in over the next few days but the chatter I'm seeing is that the game is almost unplayable now on psvr2.

Dunno.....Irn-Bru in the morning can have tonic-like effects. Although probably only after drinking 😂

Seemingly they said on twitter they're abandoning it

There are far, far worse offenders out there than Fred Durst.
comment in response to post
Yeah they're lying when they say that. I guarantee it

Shout out to the Weeknd, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen and Joni Mitchell though. Also Silver Side Up by Nickelback is a good album.

FYI, there is only one version of FNAF and it's both VR and non-VR

You should be so proud of not just this, but everything you're doing for the medium! Keep it up!

Fine by me, would rather get the full experience on the disc!

There's been worse, there's been better.

Your coverage and words on recent VR announcements is an absolute disgrace. Childish, petty and unworthy of the time it took to type them.
comment in response to post
Rumour is it's 3rd person and you play as two characters. I won't spoil the 2nd for you. With the RE engine the can snap between 1st and 3rd person though so we might see that? Just hoping for a VR announcement personally 😂
comment in response to post
Have you tried it on psvr2? It's ridiculously good
comment in response to post
That's not nDreams. It's Oculus owned Twisted Pixel isn't it?

I'm sure someone, somewhere will come up with a solution...that isn't a neural implant!
comment in response to post
Fair. I really hope they find a way to make it work comfortably for everyone as it's a literal game changing experience
comment in response to post
I'm happy for you if you enjoyed it but I didn't think it was as good as some others tbh. Not a fan of fighting games or most of the Japanese games shown. Just a personal preference
comment in response to post
I'm sure it'll have a big audience but the general public don't care about fighting games as much. It's a very niche genre
comment in response to post
Maybe but it's not a guarantee. I think the hybrid strategy is the way to go personally. Big AAA games without the risk.
comment in response to post
I thought it was okay but the pacing was off as usual. Ending it on a deep dive for a niche game was never gonna go down well with a mass audience. PS seem really lost at sea these days
comment in response to post
Dude calm down lol it's not exclusive. It's psvr2, quest and steam.
comment in response to post
Any reason ypu wouldn't buy a psvr2? Just curious as to why
comment in response to post
That's the problem, the VR market isn't big enough to justify AAA exclusives. We do have Horizon, GT7, RE8, RE4 and Hitman at least. Plus games like Synapse and Switchback which are more AA games but still good. For me that's enough for now. I hear more is to be announced later this year.

I swear the psvr2 has a genuinely amazing library. Sony are just terrible at marketing it 😂 they actually have supported it
comment in response to post
I would have said 7 but I'm docking a point for that at the end 😂 I just want to see games
