I uh, I'm processing the news still. Did not expect this, and can't imagine how the devs must feel.
I at least am happy to think back at the friends I've made, the money we raised for charity, and on a personal note I wouldn't have gone into gamedev were it not for Hytale.

Assuming this is what you’re referring to, it is actually (roughly) resembling how the light intensity would look/be distributed irl.
I think it throws a lot of people off because we don’t encounter many emissive cubes in our daily lives :P
