There's a road near me that I cycle past every day. There are houses on it, but I've not seen any cars use it. Because I've never seen a car on it, I conclude it is useless and they should get rid of it and put in a footpath.

I hear you. However on my commute today, I had several considerate drivers who wouldn't overtake me until the road was clear, and one that waited for me to clear a gap before progressing. There are nice people out there - easy to forget when you've just been cut up!

He's nearly 80 and has a diet of fast food and no exercise. Surely the odds are against him lasting too much longer. I'd guess at a stroke, but by his rantings I suspect he's in the middle of one...

Trump's plan could work if tweaked a little. First, kick Israel out of Gaza. Then US pays to rebuild it. The Gazans stay in Gaza and the US invests in it as a tourist spot, and defends Gaza from Israeli incursions.

This is a great time to unite with EU, and also for the EU to find new markets outside of USA. In fact, the whole of the rest of the world could treat USA as a pariah for the next few years. This is a great opportunity.
