It just occurred to me that both generationally and from just a timespan (actually longer here!) perspective, we’re as far away from the Wii as the Wii was from the SNES. Really frames how explosive generational leaps were in the old days compared to the more modest leaps we see today.

I find myself weirdly at peace with the end of the Caps season. It was a hell of a year, we got to see the best player in our clubs history break an unbreakable record, and we’re awesome throughout the whole season in a year we were projected to be a bubble team at best. I’ve got no complaints.
