Patients on Medicaid (the health insurance portion) do not receive money. The PROVIDERS of healthcare (hospitals, clinics, equipment suppliers) and INSURANCE COMPANIES receive the money. That's where the fraud primarily lies. Kicking people off insurance won't address fraudulent actors.

The budget hasn't passed yet. So, this disenrollment is due to something else. Did the state they live in change eligibility requirements? Did they initiate a work requirement? The individual needs to check with state guidelines.

Me. Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer patient and Medicaid recipient. I am not aware of a single GOP elected official who will stand up and protect the millions of citizens that rely on Medicaid. We are expendable.
