Policing evokes power and authority which brings about fear and pushback.

It's just a reminder that I've come a long way, and, amazingly, 99% of the running I do doesn't trigger these symptoms. I'm grateful for my body, what I'm capable of, and pushing myself to get stronger and faster.
I do it for myself, my wife, and my kids.
