thank you, I appreciate it! the SRO mentioned they are trying to make sure these grants still make it to the same advisory counci, which would mean no delays ultimately but...well who knows?

my K99 was due to be reviewed Feb 27-28, but is canceled. SRO specifically said "due to a longer wait for submission of the meeting to the Federal Register". They're hoping to reschedule for April

Remember NIH leaders: except for IC directors, you cannot be fired by law. Make them put you on leave, and call a federal employment attorney.

6. The policy does not just affect funding going forward. All existing NIH grants will have their indirect rates cut to 15% as of today, the date of issuance.
For a large university, this creates a sudden and catastrophic shortfall of hundreds of millions of dollars against already budgeted funds.
