Thank you for having me on! We'll keep fighting for more free movement despite the awful incoming administration.

'I think the core of what it means to be a #liberal, is to recognize in each individual a fundamental human dignity-that centering of human dignity is what makes liberalism unique and distinct from other political philosophies and political mindsets.'- @tylerharris.bsky.social in this week's pod.

We can't allow immigration until we increase/decrease the welfare state is a common excuse at both ends of the spectrum and it's equally untrue for both.

Didn't they do that in Utah, too? The Republican Party is gross.

So far, Blue Sky is my favorite social media platform or perhaps equivalent to Instagram and YouTube. People are really pleasant here for the most part. X is the most toxic and FB is okay for family/friends except for all the toxic page ads -- bots are the big problem there.

Encouraging multiple choices/options for different people or in different seasons of life is important. Some people thrive in college and others thrive on a trade or with starting a business or flexible income/schedule if they're a stay at home parent. I loved college, yet student loans are costly.

As a Liberal I'm all for accepting territories like Puerto Rico in because they voted for it and if we vote for it just like back in the day when we voted in new states. But this is... not that... It's aggression and populist rhetoric. It's just insanity.
