Favourite animal from my trip to the zoo yesterday.

Today was a lovely day for riding my bike and keeping away from the news.

So nice to see the sun out again. It has been a very gloomy February so far (not just the weather).

Absolutely my favourite part of award season.

Really enjoyed being back volunteering in the bike workshop today.

Really enjoyable afternoon out at the zoo. Got to see a very cute and cuddly looking rodrigues bat up close. I think bats are probably the coolest flying animal, so speedy and manoeuvrable.

I have really enjoyed riding the city bike this week.

Really enjoyed yesterday's critical mass ride around Chester. Love showing how much fun you can have pootling around town on your bike with friends and how much better it would be if we had more joined up infrastructure for cycling in town.

Not impressed with the news about Eurosport getting binned off and the cycling moving to the far more expensive TNT sports channels.

So glad I went out on the walk today as weather wasn't as bad as forecast and I introduced my friend to forest samba.

Managed to get out for a bike ride which was great except for the still awful road surface on bits of the A56 and misplacing my climbing legs. Had to get off and push to get to the top of the first big hill.

Trying to get myself out of the house for a bike ride but keep getting distracted by the men's downhill skiing at kitzbuhl. Can't remember such an exciting or competitive men's speed race in ages.

Feels very strange to have a storm that's just extreme wind - looks like a lovely sunny day for getting out and about if you ignore the trees waving about.

First "real" day in the new job and it was great. Outside, offline and lots of happy faces.

I have a new appreciation of Friday nights going back to work this week after over a year out of employment!

Still loving my new job 3 days in. It's absolutely everything my previous career was not.

Finally made it to the gym for the first time since Christmas. Feeling surprisingly energetic considering it's been a while.

Hoping this place is the new threads.
