People's gravitation to Israel comes from the need to angrily point at textbooks so you care deeply about one minority group than the other. Jews were the no. 1 target no doubt, but Hitler's reich did more than decimate the jews. Queer, anarchist, socialist, disabled were all targets of the regime.

Funnily enough, there will come a point in the next decade where the holocaust and WWII's influence on world politics gradually wane as it becomes faded into history: rather than a living memory.

Since the holocaust reports became more prevelent in the 1960's. The tone shifted to give jews this supposed special treatment that no other minority group ever gets from conservatives. It's 'you're all the good ones but you belong their lol'

The thing with persecution and the holocaust people don't realise is how it's created a hierarchy of 'What's the worse genocide?" with this burden of guilt that's trickled down ever since. Spoiler alert: most nations initially supported the zionist project to softly solve their jewish problem.

MAGA republicans only ever learn as far as history when everyone agrees something is bad. Like everyone agrees the KKK is bad, or the holocaust happened. If right-wingers didn't agree, then MAGA would happily lie about it.

If everyone but the most mask-off even Trump would condemn agreed that latin people should be deported in masses and hundreds of Palestinians left starving, then they wouldn't hint at it. I say this as if dogwhistling and half-truths aren't a part of the playbook.

They'll happily say "NEVER FORGET 6 MILLION SHOAH" but as soon as someone brings up trans people being treated like human beings, it's a stupid rhetorical game. "Y'know this matter is delicate, it should be approached carefully." Eat shit

Everything Trump stands for in reclaiming America would resonate with how every nazi thinks. Heck, if I was a white nationalist, Trump's rhetoric would affirm my worldview. If his speeches regarding Latine people were phrased differently: it would be the jewish question.

But because of nazis and holocaust denial, private companies have no choice but to make us tip-toe because people easily mistake Pro-Palestinian rights as "anti-jewish". I am pro-people, that is it. I don't favour one group over the other. That's it.

A point of debate I was researching recently regarding the holocaust playing a key role in founding Israel. The God's honest truth is genocide or not, it would've happened anyway. Chridtian zionism was an instituionally strong force even long before Hitler became prominant.

I'm not here simping let alone taking cheap shots at Ben Franklin or Adam Smith, but my god. Trump would LITERALLY be the head meat rider of King George
