Cos everytime I'm like "ah, NOW things will calm down", something NEW comes along, which is just kind of... well, just seems like a fact of life, really. I need to keep my own advice in my mind really, give what reasonable amount of effort I can, and relax more fully

I think recently I've had a switch go off in my head really - spent a while now feeling sort of indeterminately "stressed". Doing a lot at work, sure, but im like "oh eventually ill feel less stressed/busy" for ages now and i think thats been pretty bad

I don't really see a world where I never get anxious, but one where I don't have to read/re-read every message I ever send, or travel without checking my tickets are the right ones every 10 minutes, or check my pockets constantly to make sure i still have my keys on me would be nice

Admittedly, I am forever proud of myself in that I've very much lived like that for years and years and I feel like I've accomplished a lot in spite of that, though probably is also why I'm so fatigued all the time ;P

I think the best part of meeting all of the people I have in the past few years and getting to know them is that, in turn, I have met my most real self as a result. Kindness and love of others helped coax me out of a shell I'd spent a long time building

I think for me theres a hesitance to address problems/things that make me stressed when i think they'll only be temporary, but thats likely a bad way of handling things

Yeah, thats a very good way of putting it. I keep expecting it all to go away at a point, but it doesnt cos thats not really how it works

Grab rest when i can, remember life is a marathon and not a sprint and put less pressure on myself overall. I think getting in a "oh it'll only be like this for a few more weeks" mindset makes you more prone to overworking yourself

Maybe id benefit more from realizing that work life is just kind of stressful and try not to see myself as sitting and wait to feel less stressed out

Everytime some less busy time/less pressured work comes around, something else comes along and feels like a pit of despair opens up, and i think thats just down to expectations.
