So, making Canada a 51st state would eliminate the border protections completely and make the 49th parallel a state line and that is going to fix the fentanyl and immigration problem how? Do you know how many "former" Canadians would suddenly head south to the warm climates and turn red states blue?

The fascists are only talking to right wing voters. They do not care about anyone else who is listening. The left needs to try to reach the same voters every time they speak in order to counter the lies the right is spewing and getting to those who believe the lies. That is the solution.

It appears to me that Trump, Vance and Musk are trying to take the MAGA concept global. Vance’s speech today was a message to right wing groups to elect right wing parties in other countries. Since Covid and global inflation there is a trend to elect extreme right leaning governments.
