what would a foreign adversary do differently as part of a coordinated attack

Elon Musk is a bandit. And Doug Ford just signed $100 million deal with him. Meanwhile he and Trump are trying to crush the people of Ukraine. Doug Ford says it's the "best bang for the buck." No Doug, this is what vichy collaborators do. Slava Ukraini

🏒🥅🚨 Saturday NHL win probabilities:

Important to recognize that breaking public orgs in lasting ways is the point. Definitely not efficiency. Making many things less efficient. Definitely not savings. Vast majority of taxpayers are losing out, not gaining. Destruction to facilitate oligarchical power, and should be covered as such.

I will vote for the first candidate who tells me they're going to make the biggest government possible. Reacher-sized agencies. Braun Strowman-level social benefits. Government so big it starts belching out National Parks and free healthcare. Chungus State.

has a single mainstream journalist acknowledged that it was a massive media failure to treat project 2025 as a closed issue just bc trump lied a couple of times about not supporting it

So if you criticize Elon Musk, Trump’s DOJ will send you this letter. Members of Congress must have the right to forcefully oppose the Trump Administration. I will not be silenced.

Trumpists will continue to be furious at any dissent no matter how much power they steal. That’s because the administration is premised on pathological insecurity. They’re shitty people, they know it, and they will never stop resenting being seen as shitty people.

What's going to happen in fairly short order is they're going to announce a US-Russia "deal" that gives Putin essentially all of his demands, and when Ukraine doesn't accept it, they'll cut off all aid, which is the only real goal of the exercise.

incompetence is firing one person on accident and having to rehire them. gross incompetence is doing this for a team. we need new words for doing it to hundreds or thousands of workers across multiple critical departments.

This database would give Musk detailed technical specifications of every system, detailed pricing and delivery schedules, and information on any confidential government investigations into every other U.S. defense firms. Conflict of interest does not get bigger than this.

Here in #Montreal, we just got 74 cm (30 inches) of snow. This plow driver has the right idea. The municipal snow removal operation should also be a car removal operation!

cool as hell

the richest man in the world decided that you don't deserve safe drinking water

You mean he was *unbanned* by Musk after first being banned for posting some of the worst CSAM around.

The Trump official currently dismantling USAID was caught in a secret meeting with a group of pro-Russian separatists in the Balkans. Those he met with are under American sanctions for trying to restart the Bosnian war in the name of Christian nationalism. 1/

Hi All--Just sent out this piece (free for all) on the most important example of Trump and Putin aligning. Its about the issue of Ukrainians holding elections soon. Before the US elections, neither Trump nor Kellogg cared about the issue--but for Putin is was key. open.substack.com/pub/phillips...

what would you do differently if you were actively trying to cause more plane crashes? www.cnn.com/2025/02/16/p...

BREAKING The Trump administration is pressuring Romania to lift restrictions on the Tate brothers. Tristan and Andrew Tate have been charged with sexual misconduct, organised crime, and money laundering. Full Story: https://bit.ly/431iwiC

Typical NHL All-Star game. #4NationsFaceOff 😂

See here's how to do a headline. fortune.com/2025/02/13/e...

Not that anyone cares but a bunch of senior doj officials resigning over a corrupt instruction to drop a case was what triggered the Nixon impeachment, and in the Trump era it's just the 2pm scandal of a random Thursday and every day now has ~3 such scandals that would have ended any prior admin

NEW: At least three more DOJ Public Integrity Unit senior officials have resigned after meeting with Emil Bove on the Eric Adams case. Five in Public Integrity overall. That’s six officials who resigned, triple the number that happened during the Saturday Night Massacre.

The #2 official at the United States Department of Justice literally gave the Stringer Bell "is you taking notes on a criminal fucking conspiracy?" warning to the Manhattan prosecutors pursuing the Eric Adams case.

Getting so pissed off at a request for your participation in public corruption that you call a reporter from the delivery ward to be like, JUST SO WE ARE CLEAR, I AM FUCKING QUITTING TOO

I'm hearing now that *every* technologist CFPB hired to investigate Big Tech was fired this evening. That's somewhere between 70-100 people. wired.com/story/dozens-of-cfpb-workers-terminated-in-after-hours-firing-blitz/

Still thinking how Pete Hegseth's entire rationale for being secdef was to get the military to do less touchy-feely stuff and be more lethal and war-capable, and yet at his *first* big-boy multilateral the talking point is "Roll back Russian territorial aggression? Protect Europe? We can't do that!"

Bureaucracy, famously not important in war

judges famously lack any authority over attorneys

This Politico story from last October shows how easy it is to launder lies through the press. It claimed Trump would ban anyone tied to Project 2025 from a job in a second Trump administration. “Clearly people working on Project 2025 are blacklisted,” said an unidentified Trump insider. 1/4🧵

"I promise, America will soon be the Cybertruck of countries—uglier than you could have imagined, built for rich chuds, borderline inoperable, and on fire."
