What got us here is for the past 30+ years the Dems have excepted the premise of every Republican argument.

Money is power and in a democratic society no one person can be allowed to have that much power. That is why billionaires shouldn't exist. It has nothing to do with "paying their fair share" or whether they do or don't deserve that much. They can't have that much power. Tax the rich.

This is exactly the kind of thing Democrats need to be on TV all day every day screaming about. Flood the airwaves like Republicans do. Dems need to stop counting on all voters being hyper informed about every issue. They have to push the narratives they want until they permeate society.

I think that's a silly distinction to try to make, but even if we want to, Republican members of congress take any chance they can to set and reinforce narratives in the media, they introduce bills to reinforce those narratives, they blame anything they can on Dems to reinforce those narratives.

It's true. Most people vote based on vibes. One of the mistakes the Dems make is assuming all voters are perfectly informed consumers carefully making up their own minds. So Dems use polling to determine what Americans support. Republicans understand they can craft the narrative and set the vibes.
