Working on my comic is a constant battle of how much I needed to learn to draw so many things I've never done that, like it or not, finally got me off a plateau.
Just a constant getting hit in the face by a 2x4 and getting up like 'Awesome. Same time next week.'

Going through the grief of losing mom, where I get blindsided at random moments by 'that's right, she's not here' and having to process what the last 5 or so years have been like.
I'm thankful for the moments I'm reminded of all the kindness and joy I've experienced and the love in my work.
