Gabby got good news from her vet checkup: her hyperthyroidism is officially under control! We're doing the Hills Science diet instead of medication, and she's responded really well to it. Which is such a relief, because trying to medicate my poor scaredy cat just totally terrorizes her.

The team on my current project is smart and good at their jobs and friendly and all that, but it has such strong bro energy (even many of the women), and I find it exhausting. My last team was dominated by very experienced, middle-aged women, and I liked that so much better. I really miss that team.
