People go on about Nolan's Dunkirk (2017), but it's a pretty inaccurate portrayed of the events. Everything is relatively orderly, there are almost no soldiers from British and French colonies etc. Atonement (2007) did it really well - it captures all the chaos in an incredible single-shot scene.
