How many pre-written "#MeToo Is Over" columns had to be shelved tonight?

imagine writing this completely uncritically as if it’s a normal thing for a government official to say

“Viewpoint diversity”

Important viewing for everyone to understand a major powerful segment of the US government right now. Mike Huckabee is beside himself with glee to have a front row seat to the End Times.

Never forget. (Ha ha, of course these fucking people are wrong all the time about everything and everyone instantly forgets every time, so.)

All the bad things that were on the horizon in some far off dystopian future for half my life or even for my entire life have been happening these past few years. Thinking back to being in school hearing “children are our future” that this is the future waiting for my peers and me.

Important that this "interruption" came after the secretary had literally declared war on Californians' right to self governance

There’s a lot of people who will point out how people are falling for Chris Rufo’s “I’m telling you how I’m manipulating you” schtick and then keep on posting on X, The Everything App and at a certain point they gotta knock that off.

Don't just say it's unconstitutional, remind people that the constitution is full of very good ideas designed to prevent authoritarianism, and most people who want to ignore it want that specifically because they are authoritarian.

ICE has only existed since 2003. A Bush-era creation, it is a militarized federal secret police that has been imbued with the Supreme Court with the unconstitutional power to ignore the fourth amendment. Abolishing it and salting the earth where it grew is the moderate stance.

Everything that’s happened over the past six months has been a response to an imaginary crisis. There is no immigrant invasion. No trade crisis. No scientific or governance crisis. Just people completely high off their own supply trying to fundamentally reorder society. None of this had to happen.

If you think there’s no connection between Hollywood deciding comic book movies were the only films worth making and the rise of MAGA in USA you have no idea how culturally dumbing down a people works.

For some reason, I was just thinking about how Trump’s former chief of staff tried to warn us right before the election that Trump was a fascist who wanted to rule us like a dictator … and the New York Times put that story on page A12

In this hilarious episode of Full House, Danny, Jesse, and Joey leave DJ in charge for the night while they attend a party. They come home to discover that the hijinks got a little out of hand resulting in DJ and Michelle kicking off the Second US Civil War

There is no such thing as immigration enforcement that doesn't impinge on the freedoms of citizens as well, and the more immigration enforcement you get, the more it will do that.

tbf this was also Pol Pot's request
