I’m looking for people into sewing and upcycling clothing, and growers/herbalists. I have a tea garden in which I am growing a lot of rue. Zone 10a.

You should put strawberries in it.

Depends on who you ask. :)

You should see if you can get a free consult with an attorney. Many do virtual now. I know nothing about the law in your state but here there are emergency orders you could get, including for fees. You need to know what your rights and options are.

Here you would still be expected to refinance at a certain point.

Your state may not allow you to waive child support. Unfortunately I’m in CA so I can’t help much. A child support order may help you qualify along with spousal support, if that is an option. In CA, property could be used to settle spousal but not child.

They even said they’d deport citizen family members. There’s no way they didn’t know.

This is what we all do. It means we are done but the time is not right. This may be the way for now, but you should also be planning. He will say he was “blindsided.”

The process can be rough but for me, at least, it was a lot better on the other side. I also believe that my health improved significantly.

I don’t know anyone that doesn’t like that ride. It’s really well done.

Considering how many Nazis are in Disney movies, I’m a little surprised there is no punching at all.

It’s a solid ride otherwise.

Interesting. Usually they like lakes but if there are fish in the river, I’m sure that will do. There are a number of lakes near me so we see osprey pretty regularly. A lot of raptors in general with Coopers probably the most common.

Do you have a body of water nearby? I’m not surprised at your variety considering the wild/native planting you are doing. More bugs and more seeds. I had to learn the native flower lesson in my herb garden to get the pollinators.

So much space and work. I’m focusing on herbs and just hoping to barter if it comes to that. I do have a tub of potatoes and thinking about adding another, and some peppers, but I am realistic about what I can put into it.

FWIW, a lot of us here take issue with those checkpoints too but they have been found to be constitutional. Can’t just ask for papers there either. However a visual inspection or dogs may give rise to a suspicion of secretly carrying produce, drugs, or people.

Submitting fraudulent right to work documents, for example. Or acting suspiciously when going through any of the checkpoints that exist within California. I think it’s going to be limited when it comes to sweeps.

My grandmother used to hit the yard sales and take donations for her own yard sales. I often got old books and toys as gifts from her.

The bottom line is that it shouldn’t be pursued unless there is a clear reason to pursue it. You can’t just engage in fishing expeditions.

That’s it, isn’t it? The bar required by due process is necessarily a high one. As a white woman born and raised in California, I would have no way myself to prove my citizenship on the spot. I don’t carry “papers.” I’m not ever asked bc I am white but I could easily be foreign with an expired visa.

I will never leave California. I hope the right people see the light and move here. We will take a stand for the people that actually do make California, practically a country in itself, great.

For context, I had only one positive lymph node with no mets or micromets, so full recovery is pretty certain. Most of the mass is gone but one margin wasn’t clear. The surgeon tells me this surgery will be quick. The node dissection recovery has been harder than the lumpectomy. 2/2

I am hoping to get in and get this over with. I get two more attempts before we do a mastectomy. This was not completely unexpected because my mass is pleomorphic. It was never detectable by physical examination because it does not have distinct edges. Mentally I am fine. Just tired. 5/5

The bad news is that the margins are not clear on the mass and I have to go back on. My amazing second opinion surgeon is trying to jam me into her schedule on Wednesday so I don’t have to go through a full recovery again. She also gave me two more weeks off work 4/

The pathology report came back today. The good news: only the one previously identified node was positive, so only three lymph nodes were removed and we are done. My first surgeon wanted to take all of them without targeting. That should be a lesson to fully investigate your options. 3/

I had a lumpectomy with sentinel node dissection last Tuesday. Recovery has not been too bad. The breast incision barely hurt. The node incision has been more painful and gets irritated by the very sexy compression bra I was given to wear. However, aside from initial fatigue, it’s been OK 2/

My garden started last year with medicinal and tea herbs — some were hard to find and expensive. I lost a lot but this year everything is thriving and I feel like I have a lot more control, but I also live in CA and get super high temps so we’ll see how much I’ve actually learned then.

Ask me how I know I can make a failure garden by myself :) It’s much better this year.

I am so sorry if anyone is making you feel badly about it. My lumpectomy and node dissection are on Tuesday and I stayed home because I still have preparations to complete and I am exhausted.

I haven’t dabbled with AI much but I feel like that’s why you would want to use AI— so you didn’t have to calculate that stuff out. I can design a failure garden based on pretty colors all by myself.

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this. Mine have stopped but they were brutal. I’ve been hearing that antihistamines may help. I’m going to try taking Allegra and Pepcid because I suspect I have mast cell issues but I’m also going to have my daughter try it for her cycles.
