Your writing is essentially your foundation for them. I just find it fascinating, trying to see the scenes behind the process of others only to realize that it is much simpler than what my overthinking could produce.

Yeah, just felt that I have seen an awful lot of designs stuck in limbo lately. Where even though the impression is formed, there isn't any form of narrative background to contour 'em.

I feel like without a story, a proper design can only get you so far. It doesn't even need to be the Epic of Gilgamesh, something akin to a slice of life into a new world/universe should be enough to put the piece in place, if I am expressing myself correctly.
Designs need support.

Part of the reason I think is that TF2 is extremely close to internet culture and so, the way the internet evolves, so it did in terms of toxicity.
The community is incredibly divided by so many factors that everyone got their own 'ideal' TF2 experience which is shoehorned as the objective truth.
