Del Rey really made a go, down to the graphic design, of trying to get their Robotech readers hooked on the pure stuff from Japan, but it didn't really take. (It's been years since I flipped thru their editions so I'd forgotten they call the series "Gundam Mobile Suit" -- yes, in that order.)

The new Acid Bufferzone book came out last month and it’s fantastic. Masahiro Ito’s icy scifi series has been around for nearly a decade but the original booklets from Modelkasten are hard to get. This book collects the first six in one volume.

Didn't realize this existed until just now, but it's kind of funny that it means both Makoto Kobayashi and his brother Osamu Kobayashi wrote manga series that borrowed VERY heavily from the imagery of Blade Runner. But then again in the 1980s, uh, who didn't?
