i was just making $30,000 (before taxes) back around 2000, mortgage on my 2000 square foot home was $895. after divorce i was having to work 60 hrs a weeks to maintain. my children are "lucky" to make $30-40,000 a yr but still need our aid - nearly every month - to maintain their households.
