Well, if the Washington Post was in Europe you would have a point, but seeing as it’s a U.S. publication writing for a U.S. audience…

It’s a U.S. publication writing for a U.S. audience. Is using F instead of C stupid? Yes. But until our country changes, this is what you get.

And? It’s a U.S. newspaper writing for a U.S. audience. This is like telling a UK newspaper they shouldn’t spell it “favourite@ because not everyone spells it that way. You write for your audience.

When he was first signed, my family took to calling him "Mr. Floppy Hands." Boy did our opinions change (for the better) over the years.

Would be very cool as I’ve also heard as high as $400M

Off of that reported $300M budget? Oof.

Shall we start the countdown to a sequel?

Without Wick as the lead, I’m not horribly surprised

Card list? Can’t make out some of the top ones

Between this and Sinners, something tells me WB is going to take the lesson of "All horror, all the time," and won't understand why either of these films worked.

I’m in three of those as the toy column writer. Just know if there any sexist jokes, I’m not responsible. (That was part of what led to my departure as they wouldn’t make it clear I didn’t write them.)

But... but... I've been told multiple times 2025 would fix everything. (Kidding aside, how did we not have a major new release this weekend?)

Former comic store retailer here. That pretty much sums up Diamond from top to bottom.

That’s a lot of it right there. Wording changes, science gets a better understanding of things, etc. I was in high school in the 80s, there was an autistic kid in marching band with me and that was the term used for him. It was there, people just weren’t paying attention.

And yet another example of why studios SHOULD have the option to go PVOD after 17 days. It at least gives them the benefit of some holdover from the theatrical marketing campaign. The 45-day window simply doesn't work for some films. (And don't even get me started on the old 90)

It's truly amazing how Netflix is letting what could be such an enormous amount of money just sit on the table.

Someone needs to find who signed off on those $60M projections and have a serious talk with them.
comment in response to post
I had the exact same thought. I really want video of Zaslav saying "well done" through gritted teeth.

Stunning. The rest of the chart is still a freakin' disaster, but at least someone finally got a win. Minecraft 2: Redstone Contraptions announcement in 3... 2... 1...
comment in response to post
Anyone who said they saw this number coming is just out and out lying. The projections were, what, $60M?
comment in response to post
Whelp, did NOT see that coming

WB can't continue like this (Looking at Mickey 17 as well). This is like watching a train wreck in super slow motion.

Has anyone checked on the "Survive 'Til '25" crew?

And before you ask, no. I'm not doing this. I'm going to find an alternative. I refuse to pay a subscription fee to rename files.

A Working Man looks to be picking up some. I mean, I’m seeing 13.5, but better than nothing.

As a long time MSTie… yeah. I think it’s time to let the boat sail. We had an amazing run, but the last two crowdfundings, especially the last one, were just a bridge too far.

I was just thinking about the scene the other day where he was counting ceiling tiles in his dressing room and it still makes me laugh.

The lure of those extra punches was just too strong lol

When I had my comic store, we did video rentals as well with a 10 punch loyalty card to get a free rental. With Wed being new comic day, Tues was always dead, hence “Double Punch Tuesdays” was born. Guess what our busiest rental day of the week was.
