"Clerks" but "Stormtroopers".
Has to include a scene on the Death Star with two Stormtroopers discussing the politics of two retail clerks working at Jabba's palace on Tatooine and how they are or are not complicit on the activities there.

We went so many times over a single year the servers knew our order when came in.
We came back one time and the place was gone. We were devastated.
Then we found it had moved down the street.
Three months later we came back and it was gone.
Gone forever.
Along with the greatest ramen ever.

In a ramen place in Bangkok's Japanese section on Thong Lor street, they served a Tom Yum Seafood Ramen.
Squid. Shrimp. Deep rich and spicy Tom Yum broth. Spicy so you sweat but not too spicy so it was uncomfortable.

Hopefully it's this guy. Mostly...okay, entirely because of his name.

He appointed a majority of the existing cardinals and created something like a dozen new positions, as well.
Likely they'll elect a progressive Pope.

I also posted an article with the same information, if, for some reason, the medium matters, rather than the person providing the information and their expertise.

She literally says they're from Oklo, a company working on how to recycle nuclear waste. They were on the same tour as her so she decided to interview them.
I also posted a CNBC article on the same subject that generally agrees with their statement.

True. And the waste already exists so we should use it up and then we don't need to store it anymore!

We can power the entire US for 150 years using just the existing nuclear waste we're storing.

Future are you a bit from 5% now. So not quite as bad.
But just give it a few days. The damage has only started.

It's really -13% to date. But what's a percent or two among friends?
comment in response to

-15% month to date.
Futures are showing -5% tomorrow.

Hong Kong market had to put in circuit breakers today.
We hit -20% tomorrow (cumulative since tariffs) if the futures markets are correct.
Reciprocal tariffs have yet to be put in effect in many places.
If the Mad King keeps it up, we're cooked.

"In 1929, the US stock market lost over 20% of its value in two days - and 50% within three weeks. That was the famous Wall Street Crash that ushered in the great depression of the 1930s."
We're well on our way.
Asia markets just took a massive hit. US futures are showing another -5%.

But even if transphobia didn't veer into anti-Black racism, I'd still fight against it. Because transphobia is wrong.
And because I don't care what "the majority of Americans" think about a topic. I care what I think about a topic.
And if 160 million of you gang up on 17 kids? I'm with the kids.

Trump can pardon anyone who commits a Federal crime. He can blanket pardon his entire Administration.
There aren't laws any more because his party won't impeach him.
The system is beyond broken.

Also, SpaceX's safety record for actual orbital delivery is the best of any space organization in history. Much better than NASA.
See: arstechnica.com/science/2022...
Destructive testing is part of it's development process. They *expect* to lose rockets when testing.

It saves money versus the previous and current alternatives. We used to rely on the Russians for orbital launches. We now have a domestic, cheaper alternative.
When you buy apples from a new vendor that are cheaper than your old vendor you are saving money.
