So now any GOP Senators willing to buck Trump have to decide which of the worst they'll fight the hardest: Patel, Hegeseth, RFK Jr, Gabbard... Any one of them could be utterly disastrous.

Just my 2 cents. But my goal is to ignore the trolls. Give them zero attention. Block them if they annoy me. I think the worst thing we can do on this site is re-create the ad hominem/ personal attacks that occur across comments on Twitter/insta/tiktok/ etc

Yes - it's hard to argue with the punishment. I think it should have been done from the start of the season, and not dragged out this long. But, its time to draw a line under it - not compare it to other situations - and hopefully learn from the entire situation.

The idea that Bluesky is insular and X is a place for diverse views is a fallacy. X is based on an algorithm rigged to push the views of Musk and others on the far right. Bluesky is open. You can make it whatever you want it to be.
