I'm looking forward to seeing it. Didn't it used to be a department store? I'm always interested to see the creative re-use of shop buildings like this as there are plenty that need to find a new purpose

I feared that was the case. Hoardings say they'll try to restore some of it but the architects visualisations tell a different story. I think pulling it down is a mistake

The Cleethorpes building was designed by the Borough Architect so I guess he had a vested interest in making it attractive
