Immersing ourselves in the seventeenth century this morning for a visitor to @theul.bsky.social. William Dugdale’s history of St Paul’s Cathedral (1658), an embroiderd ‘dos-à-dos’ binding for a New Testament and Book of Psalms, and a certain Mr Shakespeare.
