Depends on the person, I guess! It's an easy mistake to make going off someone's speaking voice alone, so for that reason it's never bothered me. I get it wrong all the time!

Not just refugees and asylum seekers (who are a tiny portion of the total), but this is a golden opportunity to attract scientists and researchers from the US, and we're...not going to do that.

My undergrad (95-99) was in music and we classical nerds were obsessed with DMB and learning all their tunes (mostly after nights at the campus bar). And then we just...stopped.

Have just resigned my Labour membership because of its anti-trans stance. Not expecting it to change anything, but it's the least I can do. Will keep writing to my MP as well.

Having done the drive from London (Ontario) to Thunder Bay many times, can confirm that Ontario is crazy big. And that's taking the 'shortcut' through Michigan, making the drive just 14 hours. All in one day, of course 😵💫.
