…characters are often ridiculous but still manage to be compelling, the ending’s satisfying, and the set-up is there for an ongoing series. I doubt it will but really hope it does because: a) I really enjoyed it and want more and b) (selfishly) the industry up here desperately needs shows like this

It’s fucking brilliant. It looks great, the cast are uniformly excellent (and there’s excellent use of existing Scottish actors who aren’t big names but are fucking good), there are plenty of twists that you’re allowed to work out before they hit you with another one…

I really genuinely hope these bans are really about getting parties to do better on trans stuff and not pride organisers being too worried about pissing off Labour to actually put the blame where it belongs.
