gavin newsom is useful in one respect and that is being an overt, unsubtle display of what all that "we just gotta do some means testing", "we just have to compromise on social issues a bit" actually does, the harms it brings down in the moment and their logical endpoint

I dunno, man. I put aside a lot of my complaints in 2024, and backed Biden hard. Then, despite even more misgivings at how he was removed, I backed Harris. I proved my loyalty, despite my politics not really being spoken to at all. But if I'm going to betray my beliefs to win, I need to... win?

Listen man, if you want to put yourself in legal trouble helping scam artists, fine. Whether you go to jail, or just get robbed, it's funny to me. Just don't join any organizations that are doing good, since the Feds will be able use their leverage to turn you into their pet whenever they want.
