mine & Pete's second date was at the Aztec West spa hotel, and the restaurant there is incredible. Last time we went I had a pecan and coffee knickerbocker glory I am still thinking about... www.aztechotelbristol.co.uk/food-drink/c...

If you want really lush Indian food, there is Nutmeg, where I ate so much I almost regretted my life choices (but not quite) nutmegbristol.com

(what's amazing about Bristol is that lots of these places are all in short walking distance of each other)

if you want chill but suspiciously exceptional Italian, go to the Spaghetti Incident (and have the Dirty Alfredo, I still dream about it) www.thespaghettiincident.co.uk

'This fried chicken is a religious experience' - Jen Williams, at the Caribbean Croft the other week. Next time I intend to try one of their rum cocktails (although I did very much enjoy the can of Ting) caribbeancroft.co.uk

We went to Urban Tandoor for my birthday this year and the staff were so lovely and friendly. Also I am given to understand that they are 'legends' on insta urban-tandoor.com

Bokman, holy shit. Everything I ate here was exceptional, weirdly even the salad was incredible (I generally do not do salad) - highly recommend the chicken stuffed with rice & things and the yakult based cocktail (no really) www.bokman.co.uk

Pizzarova! There are a few of these scattered around Bristol and it's the best pizza I've had here. The sweet roasted garlic mayo dip is life and the vibe is very relaxed and friendly www.pizzarova.com

First up, Under the Stars, which I have very fond memories of as we had dinner there on our first anniversary ā¤ļø It's on the river! Extremely romantic! Excellent cocktails! www.underthestarsbar.co.uk

Thank you! I miss you guys too, and Saturdays spent drinking coffee and listening to cantina music x

it's such a friendly city, bursting with art and excellent places to eat. I've been on ghost walks and treasure hunts, I've had cocktails on a boat and participated in life drawing and sashiko classes, and listened to storytellers from all over the world.
