Bought a used catalinbread fuzzrite. I’m usually disappointed by supposedly authentic recreations of 60s fuzzes, but this one delivers. Psych/Garage rock heaven. Highly recommend. Used ones are pretty cheap. Now, if I could only afford an original to truly complete my stooges/seeds/morricone dreams

I’ve been a little ambivalent about Mission of Burma for as long as I’ve been aware of them (a long time.) I dig the music and what they were going for. But the vocals have always felt a little melodramatic to me. This is a pretty good early live show from 1979 though. Their second gig ever.

Brian Wilson’s signature reminds me of that Walt Disney logo or whatever it is. For some reason Brian Wilson made an album where he covered songs from Disney movies in 2011. Sounds like it would be bad. I love pet sounds, and smile, and the very underrated smiley smile though. 60s stuff. Goodbye
