What is the worst crime committed by a current or former true crime podcast host?

The Sons of Adam - 'Feathered Fish' -written by Arthur Lee [US - Garage/Psych] (1966) https://redd.it/bgopig https://youtu.be/fQMuA-iztXY

I like how some podcasts will just be like, “and now we’re taking a two minute break where you get to listen to a beat the host probably made in fl studio, brb”

someone should remake inspector gadget as a stoner noir

youtu.be/6c6C7AE7ZW0 pretty amazing early live footage

For some reason I never listened to ‘ballot result” by the minutemen before. I’m listening right now, I like it.

Bought a used catalinbread fuzzrite. I’m usually disappointed by supposedly authentic recreations of 60s fuzzes, but this one delivers. Psych/Garage rock heaven. Highly recommend. Used ones are pretty cheap. Now, if I could only afford an original to truly complete my stooges/seeds/morricone dreams

Anyone else ever notice how the bass from the beginning of “Marquee Moon” has a kind of Isaac Hayes “Theme from Shaft” vibe to it?

when I saw mushroom head

mike watt is one of the most lovable characters in the history of punk rock

Henry Rollins (Black Flag): vocals (Stuart Sutcliffe)

I only saw Borbetomagus once in 1998. Memorably insane. Thanks for the 🎸noise Donald Miller!

I appreciate a liquid parrot capable of morphing its shape into anything it’s seen. but not when it’s dripping on me

I would disown this kid

Lying down will solve all of your problems

Drinking an entire carton of eggnog in less than 20 minutes may not have been one of my best ideas. Going to lie down now

Lael Neale is too slept on

Explained MF DOOM’s death to a co-worker the other day. Such a sad and horrifying story. Poor guy, what a way to go. Also, greatest rapper of all time, bar none.

It’s funny to me sometimes what passes for experimentation in music these days. You’ll read about some pop album & they’re using phrases like “psychedelic flourishes,” “off kilter synths” “unsettling, alien basslines.” And then you put it on & it’s the most normal shit you’ve ever heard in your life

My favorite album is “The Sufjans are Getting Restless” by Band of Sufjans

A good meme to send people who are convinced we live in a computer simulation.

one of the most annoying things about this app is that you cant put it on its side to get a bigger view of images

Saw some bald eagles today

I’ve been a little ambivalent about Mission of Burma for as long as I’ve been aware of them (a long time.) I dig the music and what they were going for. But the vocals have always felt a little melodramatic to me. This is a pretty good early live show from 1979 though. Their second gig ever.

Fuck Mike Love and his number one hit song from the 1988 film Cocktail with Tom Cruise.

Dennis Wilson used to call Charles Manson “the wizard.” I would would never call my friend that.

Brian Wilson’s signature reminds me of that Walt Disney logo or whatever it is. For some reason Brian Wilson made an album where he covered songs from Disney movies in 2011. Sounds like it would be bad. I love pet sounds, and smile, and the very underrated smiley smile though. 60s stuff. Goodbye

I don’t remember the icon for this app being a butterfly. I don’t like it
