As with any #mufc transfer these days, you’d be mad not to proceed with caution. Far too many false dawns and examples of good, proven players crumbling amidst the mess of a club we’ve become. But let’s just hope #Cunha is a step in the right direction and can be a leader to those around him.

Issues all over the shop with VAR domestically and in Europe. On the whole I think Europe probably utilises it better than the PL does, but what European competitions seem to get massively wrong, is the awarding of penalties so long after events. No complaints from players but let’s drag it back.

Previously said I’d be up for signing Delap. However, I think if the option is there to go & get Osimehn for say £20m more, we have to go for it. Young, relatively inexperienced strikers are great, but they’re great in settled squads. We ain’t that! Osimehn almost brings a guarantee. Decisions!

Aston Villa’s throw ins are brilliant. Start so many attacks for them. I have no idea why we appear to find them so hard. They’re literally a chance to pick someone out in space and spread the play. 9 times out of 10, we end up losing the ball.

Just flicking through the weekend’s results. Did make me chuckle that two keepers we’ve been linked with in the midst of this shambles at the back, came up against each other and helped their sides to a 0-0 draw. Whoever’s writing this from afar is enjoying sticking the knife in!
