I live in rural America in a "constitutional carry" state. Armed men with guns showed up to intimidate protestors at yesterday's event. Their Facebook posts are filled with comments about how liberals are "evil" or "demons" or "marxists" or "pedophiles." This is language used to justify violence.

Had a cute birthday lunch today with oldest grandson at Lower Grounds cafe at the Sign of the Takahe in Õtautahi. Then a drive over the hill and round the bays (which put him to sleep) and back to his preschool. Followed by lovely French Canadian movie 'All Stirred Up' at Silky Otter with hubs.
