I was actually talking to employed people who are advising others to not pay taxes. I'm retired and no longer filing tax returns, I'm under the income level required to file. I'm very in favor of your plan to wait until last minute.

How do you go about not paying taxes? How do you convince your employer to not withhold income tax? How do you convince stores not to charge sales tax? Most people have already filed their state and federal tax returns. What is your plan?

Sorry but not going to work is not an option. I advise to keep going to work, cash your paychecks and stock up on as many essentials as you can. Have some cash on hand, and stay alert and aware.

While Trump has been vague on exactly how he would carry out his plans, he spoke repeatedly on the campaign trail about using the military for domestic purposes, including to help carry out mass deportations, target political rivals, and quell any protests while he's in office

I would feel more optimistic if we had a few brave leaders in the government to protest with us. They need to hold rallies and make sure to spread the word over all media. We need brave journalists with loud voices to expose the lies and dangers. Being interviewed on CNN just doesn't cut it.

None of this will hurt trump, elon, or any congress members. They all have enough money to withstand even months of our protests. It may send a message but they don't care. It will only hurt people who will lose income if they take off work or may even get fired. Yes, I've turned into a pessimist.
