It's my understanding that the student is not obligated to accept said lunch, however, and parents are perfectly able to send their own from home, provided it meets allergen standards put forth by the school district. Which I haven't even bothered to look up. XD

In California, public schools are mandated to provide free breakfast and lunch to all students. Which, as a SNAP recipient, that really takes a MASSIVE load off my shoulders during the school year.

She has also been apprenticing to a lawyer for the last 6 years, not wanting to actually attend law school and interrupt the educations of others.
Found that out recently, she's set to take the BAR in July I think.
