I have never actually made a game, but I went through a couple years of *thinking* I could design a game. One was all about building a character (a bit like what might happen over a dnd game) but it was all just drawing cards and placing them in spots that outline a person. Sooo many cards lol

☺️ thanks, when I come to a decision on that I will update my profile. for now I am fine just remaining as I have always been.

but in reading other trans women's experiences, I keep getting reminded of core memories 😅 all that to say, I would like to transition. But I am not sure my marriage would survive that. And at the moment, it means more to me than altering my shell. for now.

on top of all that, I am still very definitely attracted to women, which is the default guy trait, so I had no reason to believe I was anything other than. So I have just been "Me", a hermit crab wearing a Guy-shaped shell, figuring I am just not good at it.

I have never in my life been "one of the guys". For the longest time I understood this to mean I was just a different kind of guy. This was exacerbated by my very devout/literal Evangelical upbringing, because I could file away Normal Guy behavior as "worldliness" or something 😕

'AI dungeon' was actually very fun back in the day, before we knew how awful these systems were for...everything. It would produce some amazingly funny non sequitors. maybe someday we can have a fun AI game that doesn't destroy the environment and isn't built on theft 😞

binary: a set of 2 nonbinary: a set of n a set of n genders can contain a set of 2 nonbinary does not mean a set of n-2. that's dumb.

can't not think of that song anytime someone says "too hot" 😅

wow, my ads are like 90% home improvement gadgets. although there was a month where I kept getting sunglasses ads for some reason. the rest are home & auto insurance, clothing, and upcoming movie ads. Political ads in their season, but not constant.

Mostly "non-denominational", but all the churches I attended growing up were Evangelical. Calvinist, a smattering of Baptist, AoG and Four Square for a hot minute. My favorite was a house church of ex-bikers & hippies. Probably the most down-to-earth congregation, but heavy into end-times stuff

certainly for the leadership its all about power but for the rank and file redhats (like my parents 😞) they are so serious about the prophecy stuff

well yeah, if we're being literal it's a play on "this machine makes folk music", a phrase engraved on guns as a reference to Woody Guthrie's guitar

BLAME but it's just the vast, lifeless interior of the Death Star during its 30-year construction

i have been daydreaming about a space station show for way too long. I love the idea of a place that's layers of archeology built up over a millenia, maybe something built into an asteroid, with its own secret & forgotten places

single set, basically unknown actors, budget of $1mil per episode, that runs 25 episodes each year for 9 seasons the only thing I would change is make it a space station a la Babylon 5 / Deep Space 9. someplace that's changed ownership dozens of times over the last thousand years

I love when characters are messy and broken

one of the things I love about the "Nausicaa of the valley of the wind" manga is that on-paper she's a total Mary Sue: crack shot, ace pilot, swordmaster, psychic-powered princess of destiny and yet the challenges she faces are overcome by her empathy and compassion, not any power or skill.

“Look when I took this job I was told we would only be chipping babies with bad vibes and the fact that you’re telling me to quit just goes to show you know nothing about the struggles of working-class Americans and their Ford F-350 loan payments”
