So Unity recently decided that the tiny startup I dayjob for needed to upgrade to Industry at 5k/year/seat. We had no chance to contest it because they would have killed our only product. They even threatened people we worked with in the past with the same. It's not just us. DO NOT USE UNITY!

Flight attendant: Is there a doctor on this flight? Dad: *nudging me* that should've been you Me: Not now Dad Dad: Not asking for a #Linux sysadmin to help, are they? Me: Dad, there's a medical emergency happening right now Dad: Go and see if “sudo reboot" helps.

#bluesky has some very nice looking moderation features, with a great degree of user customisation available. Does anyone have any experience with how well they work?

I'm still dumbfounded by the number of people who can't configure a #dmarc record properly. Even parliament.uk doesn't have a "proper" configuration. But what gets me more is that when I reported the issue to the #ncsc they weren't really interested.

One of the few benefits of getting an early train to work is the view
