Shoulda been out first dead ball, *obviously.*

(Gonzaga scored 60 even after late SMC fouls to extend the game. Cause duh.)

Like this was the visibility on my drive back from Pullman to Spokane. “FUN.” (I’m Montanan, so I’ve dealt with worse, but lotsa people wouldn’t.)

It was maaaaaaaaaybe 3/4 full if you’re being EXTREMELY generous. But also the weather is crap today so wouldn’t be shocked if a lot of Spokane people were like, “I know I have a ticket, but I’m not leaving work early and driving on a 2-lane highway in *this* to make a 6pm tip-off.”

My mom decided to get these (I do not believe she knows who Post Malone is) and they’re objectively very good.

If this stopped me, I would literally go to about 10 shows a year as opposed to 70-100.

A lesser Paddington movie is still a Paddington movie.

St. Mary's - 4:20 + (seperate 2 in 5:36) LMU - 5:29 San Francisco - 4:23 I guess the Zags are extra efficent when they're on that in compensates for those dips in the model, but I feel like it's an outlier for a Top 10 offense to have *that many* cold stretches if your offense is analytically elite

Kentucky - 3:44 (2 in 6:53) + 3:37 (end 2H + OT) UCONN - 3:32 + (1 point in final 3:24) UCLA - 3:34 then 2:08 then 2:56 then 1:58 (6 in 10:36) Pepperdine - 4:21 Portland - 3:03 San Diego - 3:03 Washington State - 3:50 Oregon State - 3:44 (1 in 6:16) Santa Clara - 4:06 (1 in 5:25)

I tallied it up because watching Gonzaga for decades I've never seen them play a worse offense because of the dry stretches. 3+ minute scoring draughts for GU this season, all while the main rotation was still on the floor (1/3). Arizona State - 3:10 West Virgina - 4:10 (2 in 6:21) Indiana - 3:23

Smart man.

Is stat that tracks like how many 3+ minute scoring draughts teams have? I’d be curious how Gonzaga stacks up versus the other top offenses because when they are off they are *OFF.*

Made when they had 0 points in the first 5 minutes, but sure. I just watch a lot of hoops in addition to every Zags game and when Gonzaga slumps (which is at least once in every game versus moderate talent), they look so, so bad.

It’s one of the things that made peak Black & Gold NXT at Full Sail so elite - it was a “smart” crowd, but they fully booed every heel and cheered every babyface because the characters were clearly drawn and it was more fun to play along.

With these great useless powers comes great useless responsibility or something like that.

I mean this just from a factual standpoint: There is no chance the next generation is even going to know who Hamlin is. Guys who made Super Bowls and won *NFL MVP* in the 2000s (Sean Alexander, Steve McNair, Rich Gannon) have already been largely memory holed.
