What ever strikes you that needs to be flung into the abyss! Rant away! Don’t think of it as an echo, but a reality check. "Are you seeing three heads and ooze?" "Yeah, three heads… oop! Now it’s four. With ooze and…spider legs?…" <stereo flamethrowers>

I've seen this in action, IRL, several times. For example, I listened to a story from a fiend's wife, describing her experienced Special Forces Sr. Team Sergeant husband facing the cosmic horror of changing their first-born's crap filled diaper for the first time.

Just because they are beautiful. It’s good for my mental health. I work in the 501(c)3 Arts, this kind of calculation has been my life for decades. Books, especially game books are VERY good about keeping value. They bring joy over time, again and again.

Yeah, it sucks that we are hitting stagflation. It sucks A LOT! But the extra 15-20% to a small press makes bigger impact and they can do more cool stuff. I just bought A|State 2E and Wildsea because they are BEAUTIFUL! They are SO soul nourishing for me right now that they are worth it.

I did some mind numbing value-over-time economics for a recent contract. Even though a $49.95 MSRP full color book is going to be $10 more, it is still relatively "cheaper" than my PHB in 79. That $10 offset is based on what "old money" bought. Your $10 coffee + pastry are going up to about $13

This is a beautiful way to handle the situation. You express your wishes, and provide a way to make a difference.

One of my favorite characters was a pot washer at a pub who made a lot of luck and San rolls. He was a real call back to old CoC "bell hop" characters. Back story, his estranged dad was a heavy hitter in a DG cell and left him a notebook. He called the number…

And yeah, "we are going to stand out by releasing our game on a 60’ scroll" is where this nonsense leads. Skating up hill…

For me, Traveller, CoC, Paranoia, GURPS pulp. T2K was not the right flavor for me then, due to external reasons.

Nothing of it! I do similar searches all the time! It’s nice to know how big the largest trebuchet is. What if you have sudden need to build one?

Quite something, eh? The last of the North American mega fauna. Well, unless that plot to re-introduce Mammoth 🦣 works… For those of you who haven't encountered moose before, DO NOT HONK AT THEM!!!! They will attack your vehicle. This is NOT a joke.

Any recommendations for "Delta Green agent and friendly" minis? I don’t play it as a table top war game, but minis are good for "you are behind THAT car, and he's still bleeding out in THAT ditch" story management. It helps some players really visualize the helplessness and horror.
