It looks like it's been 13 years since this guy was last used for anything, I think it deserves a new battery and modern storage (and bluetooth?) for surviving. I remember Rockbox handling FLAC but just to be sure I updated it and tested 24bit, no problem

It can be annoying being ADHD and acquiring things for various hobbies and letting them collect dust, but acceptance has made it easier to deal with. I tend to always come back to it, even if it might take a few years. I just can't let myself start a new one before I've returned to an old one

I think the sad truth about the internet is it can never be good (as in it will always require large scale resources) unless we solve the hosting problem by some utopian P2P, distributed framework that it's built into most devices. As a teenager I self hosted most things from my bedroom.

Before waking up I'll often have a dream where it's extremely difficult to use my legs, today I was walking up a moderate incline and struggling so much, almost crawling while some dream rando asks if I'm okay.
