Youâre absolutely right. Most people donât know how to read food labels (even when they think they do) and they donât exercise. And a surprising number of people donât take their meds correctly.

Oh no!! How painful. Glad to hear youâre on the mend but no surprises itâs been a slow recovery. Remember that Rome wasnât built in a day! I texted my running buddy this picture and told her to send it to me the next time I didnât feel like running- itâs definitely motivating!

What other changes do you see? If someone has a high-res copy of this I can blow up and stick in my exam rooms, please let your girl know!

3. One of the most striking changes in our internal organs has to be in the liver (top left in this graphic, but your liver sits in the top right quadrant of your abdomen). Look at the change in size/composition. Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is a major issue in the US- you can see why!

2. Obesity changes how our bones sit inside of our body. Notice the shoulders, knees and hips. Everything seems unnaturally out of place. Is it any wonder so many of our patients have shoulder, knee, hip, back, ankle, and foot pain?

1. The fat infiltrates everywhere. Itâs not just around the arms, legs, abdomen and neck, itâs in and around all of the internal organs including the heart and the brain.

My thoughts exactly. I was hoping I didnât have to boycott again. I canât believe this ownership group somehow won us 4 World Series in the past 20 years

Oh come on. John needs to empty his pockets and suck it up and pay the players what theyâre worth!! Itâs not that hard- he has the funds!!

Agree re: Fried.
Iâm not very hopeful the Sox do anything more than signing the guy who beats up his wife, but maybe theyâll surprise me.

Oregon by 20. Penn State is absurdly overrated and if Ohio State didnât take a massive dump last weekend we wouldnât have to watch them for 4 quarters

I joke that when Iâm done practicing in office, Iâm gonna get a job with a health insurance company. Approve every single claim/PA and see how long it takes for them to fire me đđ
