My glimmer of hope is faint tonight.I don’t have the health to march but I do send my two NC senators my thoughts. I leave voice mail I’m not ready to give up but my heart aches thinking how much damage has been done in such a short time span. We are better than the Trump klan.

The signs help up by the Dems last nigh were a beginning. I would suggest that as a bit too polite. FALSE is so quaint. LIAR is more to the point. And, as Trump loves free speech a middle finger salute on the flip side of their paddles would have spoken volumes.

If Republican Congress members are reluctant to have town hall meetings, hold them in absentia. Project their photo on a wall, cardboard cutouts. They want to hide, call it was it is. McCormick from GA looked like a guy caught with someone's panties in his car and not those of a wife.

North Carolina folk - call your elected reps. Ask Tillis if he's still happy about his cabinet votes. He says he's quite proud and says only a few more to go. Almost like he's collecting trading cards. Ask him how many folks need to die of disease, starvation, etc before he gets a full set?

We tend to think of Federal & State elections thinking everything else is down ballot. Down ballot is the foundation. School boards & city councils determine book bans, courses, tolerance, libraries etc. Many politicians hone their skills on local issues. Your votes matter.

For what its worth I just sent my opinions to the 2 NC Senators. I'm respectful but blunt. I asked them what they are so fear will happen if they displease Trump. Tillis wrote last week that he did his due diligence on Patel and opted to vote for him. NC residents let them know your opinions.

We've come to this point in our country where history has been ignored and lessons have not been learned. Trump;s team is not seeking to strive towards a more perfect union but plumbing the darkest parts of the soul. We will correct but the damages done ill be many. I m so sorry for our nation.
