Maine needs a strong candidate to defeat Collins for Senate, not a Dem who would lose ME-02 challenging Golden in the primary. I don't agree with Golden on every vote or opinion, but he's the only D likely to hold that R district, and our former R gov LePage (challenging Golden) is simply awful.
