Finished The Exorcist audiobook recently. Sadly did not end up enjoying it, despite loving the movie. A lot of the dialogue was written like the characters were making small talk, which I found really grating. Plus, the casual acceptance of ESP as being a real thing took me out of things. #horror

Today I finished reading “Arkham Institutions” by @dragonsroost.bsky.social, an anthology about mundane jobs and locations in Lovecraft Country. Like any collection, it has its hits and misses, but definitely enjoyed it overall. The standout story for me was “Books of the Dead” by Mia Dalia. 1/2
